This is rich coming from such a colossal douchebag asshole who commands zero respect, and who just last week was doing the Chiefs' bidding by spreading the story that Maclin was a malcontent.

I doubt that "Malcontent" crap was started by the Chiefs.

I never bought into that shit for a second. It was then said, "Well that must be why the Eagles didn't pursue him"....and then story breaks that the Eagles did in fact kick the tires on him.

And if Fescoe "lost respect" for Dorsey over this then he's a ****ing morAn.

Dorsey practicing in mirror: "It's not you Jeremy, it's me. I hate that we have to part but know you'll always mean something to me"

Dorsey to Maclin: "Hit the road Jack".

Maclin: **** you.

Dorsey: Dammit!

It's Bob Fescoe so he could have heard that "rumor" from the guy making his Chalupa at Taco Bell.

4 games in and Jeremy Maclin has 10 receptions on 20 targets for 116 yards (48 of which came on a single play where the coverage was busted and he housed a short slant).

Fellas - it may well have been as simple as Jeremy Maclin being washed up. Conley has all of 13 targets and has 129 yards off a far better catch%. As for Maclin v. Hill, it's not even close. 28 targets for 21 receptions and 288 yards.

They saved a little money, absorbed the cap hit now instead of later and moved on from a guy that probably isn't as productive as an exceedingly mediocre Chris Conley. It was a tough decision that was handled poorly, but it was almost certainly the right decision to make.

Are we sure Conley is mediocre? I was of that opinion but every time I see him he's open

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he is.

He's still not much of a route runner out there to my eyes. He's a bit of a poor man's Vincent Jackson. He has solid hands and a willingness to use his body as a screen on those in-breaking routes so that makes him a capable possession WR, but not a good one because he loses ground to the DB as soon as he makes his cut.

He's fine. If he's your 2 he's a guy you'd look to upgrade on but make due with while he's cheap. If the Chiefs give him a 2nd contract, OTOH, it had better be DAMN team friendly.

I still think he's a bit miscast in this type of offense but he does serve a really good purpose with good hands.

I think they're trying to get him more involved downfield. Smith missed him on a deep ball where Conley had all the leverage Monday night

Man, I really think Conley is who will benefit the most from Mahomes. He is open downfield often. He was in LA. He was on Monday when Alex misplaced the ball.

He's not a great route runner, but he's a damn good vertical straight line runner. Would be great if we could lock him up to a team friendly deal because he will look so much better with Pat.

I think every wide receiver will look better with a quarterback who will look to consistently get them the ball.
