Here's to hoping Duff's intensity has spread throughout the clubhouse and these guys will just keep their heads down and see this season to an October finish.

We're gonna lose some games, and I just have a feeling this will be one of them. Which is why I thought yesterday's win was important.

I think your feeling is just some extra gas. I have a feeling that we'll roll them today.

Be interesting to see the lineup. Thoughts on starting Kratz to give Salvy two straight days off (today and the off day Thursday)?

I agree I think Salvy takes the day off Kratz comes in and we need to have Colon also come in against the lefty. Lets go pick another win up tonight.

Agreed. Both Kratz and Colon SHOULD be starting tonight.

Salvy can use a couple days rest and Moose's struggles against left handlers are well documented. Yost needs to start managing ALL the players on the team like they're going to the playoffs, giving guys some days off when he can.

Besides, if it really comes down to it, and it's a close game in late innings, Moose and Salvy would give Yost a couple REALLY good left and right handed options off the bench to pinch hit, if needed. (Still would prefer Salvy not be used at all, though)

Tigers will lose tonight. We may or may not win. Seattle probably wins.

I'm almost at the point where it's like "Ok Ned, whatever you want."

I was pissed that Infante and Moose were playing yesterday. They combined to go 6-9 and Infante single-handedly won that game.

Did we trade De La Rosa? Or just release him?

He's still a below average AL pitcher (De La Rosa), but better than the bottom tier guys. Duffy has been fortunate this year, hopefully he keeps rolling. But he's had some difficulty in the last few starts. Kind of worried he will regress based on his peripherals, but when you watch him pitch, it doesn't usually look like anybody hits him solid.

We traded him to the Rockies for Ramon Ramirez in 2008.
