If only you gave Wil Myers the same excuses that you give Franklin because of young age.

The only one of our homegrown players who seems to have suddenly flipped a switch and now "gets it" is Danny Duffy.

All of this teams problems come back directly to DM. Fine, he didn't make any moves today, but there are still some glaring holes in the offensive lineup.

Shields had far more value than Proce given his (a) length of time for the acquirer and (b) cheaper, fixed cost. The trade values are appropriate. If they weren't, TB would've found better deals or KC/Det would've found better options.

According to assclown Keitzman, we supposedly were offering up packages of AA talent in attempts to acquire big league bats. Apparently it never occurred to GMDM that he can actually trade his big league talent. Well, that, or nobody out there likes our big league talent.

We are a couple of impact bats away from competing year in and year out.

Our pitching could be very strong next year with Ventura, Duffy, Vargas, and some combo of Zimmer, Lamb, Manaea, & Finnegan.

We as fans must distribute our contempt and loathing evenly. If Hos, Billy Ray and Moose had done their ****ing jobs, GMDM would have license to "go for it" at the deadline. In the long run, we may benefit from his inaction ... the Royals stellar mediocrity will continue and Moore and Yost will be gone before we ring in the new year.
