This team is terrible and everyone should be fired!

We are 1st in the AFC.

We control our own destiny.

We have locked up a playoff spot.

We are 11-3.

Pat Mahomes.

...but let's all act like this is the worst team ever.

I'm calling bullshit on this. You apparently have not spent much time in Lubbock during this time of the year. They had a foot of snow there the other day. He's now spent 18 months in KC as well throwing the ball in plenty of cold weather.

His passer rating was 110 last night against a very good defense. That should have been good enough to win the game. It is the GM and HC's fault that this defense is utter garbage and THAT is the fatal problem with the team overall.

THAT is how the NFL manipulates the onfield play.

I mean, anyone who asks that question then doesn't immediately consider the possibility that the refs are simply doing what those voices in their earpieces tell them has some serious cognitive dissonance going on...

The head coach going Full Reidtard didn't help.

He called the Chiefs 2nd timeout when the Chargers were scrambling to the line, which Rivers admitted helped the Chargers regroup...then DIDN'T use the final timeout before the 2pt conversion - I mean, what else was he going to use it for? He can't eat unused timeouts after the game...can he?

So wait, we aren’t allowed to criticize or be pissed about the worst defense in the nfl because the offense has us in first place?

Yeah it’s funny to see everyone jump off the bandwagon now. Just don’t try to get back on once we start winning again.

That is correct. Getting into the playoffs is an honor and should be celebrated. If you can't just be happy to be there then get off the bandwagon because you had no business being on it in the first place.

Or at least that's what I'm picking up on here.

I’m the farthest thing from a band wagoner. Been a fan for 30+ years. Thursday night, however, shattered my hope for this season. Like said above, we all new the defense was a liability, but it smacked us right in the face last night. I can’t imagine our offense doesn’t feel the same.

Good news, I’m saving some cash by not booking any flights or buying any tickets for this post season. Bad news, our season is probably going to end in some mediocre team’s stadium the first weekend of January.

None of this changes my seat-position on the band wagon. I’ll be front and center, ready to roll again next year! In the meantime, I’ll just sit here and read CP as the bus drives around in circles. If by the grace of god (or the NFL) it happens to make a detour to Atlanta, so be it then...

Go Chiefs!
