McCain admits Iraq was a mistake

After sending thousands to die and killing hundreds of thousands. What a piece of shit.

Republicans similarly admit McCain was a mistake.

McCain isn't writing anything that is being disseminated... My brother died of GBM... He is a shadow of his former self.

Deathbed confession. Pretty cowardly. His maker knows all and will see through it.

Will this be patteeu's fate as well?

Will he denounce multi-million death machine Dick Cheney on his death bed to enter the kingdom of whatever?

Was it a mistake?

It depends on how you look at it. If you look at it with the full benefit of hindsight 15 years on after the democrats undermined the war at nearly every turn and after Barack Obama threw away our successes by withdrawing prematurely, you can certainly come to the conclusion that it was a mistake.

But if you look at the situation as it was, assume good faith from democrats and believe that any President following in GWBush's shoes would do what's best for our country instead of what's best for Iran, it still seems pretty defensible. IMO democrats should never run our foreign policy again absent a major realignment of the parties. I know I'll never vote for another democrat for POTUS.

Not likely. Unless maybe I get a brain tumor that causes me to think irrationally.

You have no need for a tumor. You are generally nuts with occasional moments of good solid thought. But those have become rare as irrational outbursts have gained ground.

Oh look at the armchair psychiatrist we have here. His ideas are so superior, he gets to judge who is nuts, irrational, or who has solid thoughts.
Yet, has few moments of good solid thought himself. A good case of projection here.

Good to know. May my occasional moments come as often as possible.
