I have no love for Kelly but it's a tough spot. Who knows WTF state of mind Crapernick is in after the fisting he took this year. So you get hired to rehab his production, but his douche might get in the way or he might be mentally broken. So taking the job with the implicit understanding that you need to get production out of an unknown quantity is a tough spot.

Should be fun to watch. Hopefully the trainwreck is so epic that the franchise hires Pioli to Put the finishing bullet on the franchise.

I think Kelly's a pretty good coach. If he can get along with people and he doesn't have personnel control.

I'm not sure what they'll do at QB but he didn't have much to work with in Philly either.

This doesn't seem like a bad hire. The guy went 10-6 and 10-6 in his first two seasons, then followed it up with a 6-9 season (fired before the end of the season) once he got control of personnel.

Moral of the story is limit Chip Kelly's personnel decisions.
