Why do liberals care about this anyway?

They blame Trump for only benefiting the wealthy, well guess what, the wealthy own most of the stock market so they are taking the biggest hits when it drops.

So which one is it? Trump only helps the wealthy or Trump is costing the wealthy a bunch of money?

You aren't talking about why republicans wrote the bill that way and didn't give the permanent tax cuts to everyday Americans.

And nobody wants to hear conservatives complain about using the economy to get votes after conservatives refused for 8 years to ever say anything positive about the economy because Obama.
I'm uncomfortable with the left pretending to be in the corner of "everyday Americans".

Trump's entire presidency is about "putting America (and everyday American's) first". And the left thinks this mantra is abhorrent for some reason.

Yeah, really showed that by giving permanent tax cuts to the international rich rather than everyday Americans.

The things Trumpers believe in the face of evidence.

You do realize that the wealthy come out just fine from these dips right? They can afford to hold pat and be just fine. It's the people who have retirement investments, etc. that are nearing retirement age or are already in retirement that really get hurt. If the economy goes in the shitter and people lose jobs, the wealthy are just fine. The middle class takes a long time to recover just to get back to where they were. This type of market and economy that is up and down all the time is the opposite of what companies want. They want to be able to plan their long term moves off a stable sustained growth. That's when they hire and invest in the future. Good job with the deregulation and tax cuts. This is just a small hiccup, we haven't see the big crash yet. Republican financial policy = shitshow.

I think I'll trust our mega-rich president to know how to play the long game in terms of America's financial policy. This was one of the reasons why I was so in favor of Romney... we needed a business minded person to run this country for a while to get shit straightened out. Trump may even be better suited to do just that.
