There is never soul-search or second-guessing for the progressive. Their cause is just, their vision is benign, their opposition is evil, deplorable and incapable of redemption. Thus, their methods are necessary, however distasteful.

And now that it's wedded with identity politics and the maxim that the personal is political, it infests every nook and cranny or life. Sports, TV, movies, restaurants, bars, streets, interstates, campuses, and on and on.

Gutfeld has consistently put it succinctly and aptly 'we think they're wrong, they think we're evil.'
Babble lee continues to be the poster child for complete hypocrisy.

Its the fighting back part is what the Republicans have a problem with. Their many public statements prove they don't have a problem being colossal assholes. They just don't like it when someone reciprocates. It hurts their feelings. Their tender feelings. They're so farking sensitive, which you wouldn't know by the shiat they say about the rest of us.

If only the Left could be as "civil" as the Right.

It is truly inspiring how "civil" the Right is.

Why start being civil at this point? **** you and your feelings, why would we want to meet you halfway? So you idiots can draw us in and **** us over again with your disgusting socialist agenda? **** that, we'll just stack the SCOTUS with conservatives and take our questions there.

As opposed to shooting senators, rioting, lighting vehicles on fire and physically assaulting people with opposing viewpoints that your leftist buddies have been doing?

You left out openly calling for people with opposing views to be harrased in restaurants, stores, wherever they are.

To liberals the Constitution and the 1st amendment is something you wipe your ass with.

None of MY "Leftist buddies" do that, but I obviously can't speak for all of the millions of people who are on the Left.

Let's not kid ourselves here. Overzealous extremists on both sides have committed acts of terror. If you think behavior like this is limited to the Left, then maybe you should take it up with Heather Heyer's parents. They're still mourning their daughter who was killed by one of those "very fine people" in Charlottesville.

You remember that incident, don't you? That's when a Right-wing white supremacist drove his car onto a sidewalk and killed Heather Heyer. She was participating in a counter-protest against the neo-Nazis who were marching in Charlottesville and espousing their white supremacist beliefs.

Trump's response: "There were very fine people on both sides".

How civil of him.

I don't see anyone on the Left condoning heinous acts such as what you and I both described. If you can find an example of a Democratic President doing that, or a of a Democratic candidate for President urging people at a rally to beat the hell out of a protester, or of a Democratic candidate for President leading cries of "Lock her up! Lock her up!" about a political opponent, please provide it.

Leave aside the extremists on both sides. The GOP played political hardball with the Merrick Garland nomination. The democrats went beyond politics to dishonest and immoral personal smears with the Kavanaugh nomination. There's really no comparison.
