At what point did you realize that Mahomes was other-worldly?

For me, it was last year in a preseason game vs the Bungles. Mahomes gets flushed out of the pocket, rolls to his right, and throws a freakin' *curveball* to his receiver between three defenders.

Prior to that play, it never occurred to me that throwing a curveball with a football (let alone throwing a curveball with a baseball) on the run was even within the realm of possibility.

Last year whilst in Denver on that deep rollout throw to Robinson, and the DB just threw up his hands like what are we supposed to do?

That, and when he came back in to seal the game.

It's so surreall from going from decades of hope at the end of games to we're in it to the last second, with a damn good shot to win.

He's already making those around him better.

So overdue. Chiefs circumventing the system with the retreads for decades?

Fans SO deserve to be giddy . Arrowhead is going to be insane tmrw.

On September 17th, 1995, I was watching a Chiefs-Raiders game. It went into overtime, and I leapt from my seat as James Hasty intercepted a Jeff Hostetler pass and returned it 64 yards for the winning touchdown.

https://www.pro-football-reference.c...9509170kan.htm

As I was celebrating, a light shone through my window. Perplexed, I stepped to the window and looked out. There was a bright football-shaped star shining to the southeast, in the general direction of Texas. At that point, I knew.

So does this mean we are not to point out the errors in Mr. ChiefShrink's grammar or spelling or wording usages?

Because if that's the case, there's really nothing much to do here except engage in discourse regarding football.

I think a full-on wording usages war between Mr. milkman's Etymological Ephiphanies and Mr. ChiefShrink is tons more enjoyable ... speaking as an objective observer, that is.

Oh absolutely, Mr FAX... pointing out grammar errors and disagreeing about football is all perfectly acceptable, of course

But shrink often seems to get 'extra mustard' from many people, IMO

Well, speaking for myself (and even though I don't know him very well), I think he's just fine.

I'm not sure if he's really a shrink though. Then again, maybe he's one of those cold tub dudes.

Actually, I'm glad we've shared this encounter ...

I'm seeking a recommendation for a software-thing that will allow me to make little snippits from the Game Pass All-22 replays. I was informed that you are rife with knowledge on this subject. If you don't mind, could you point me in a good direction? (Doesn't matter if there's a fee ... but it would be great if it was so uncomplicated that a confused monkey could quickly achieve power-user-level competency.)

Thanks in advance.

Yours truly,

FAX

When Rain Man and Fax are 1-upping each other in a thread like this, it makes Chiefsplanet one of the greatest forums evar.
