****2012-2013 Fantasy Football Repository Thread****

I did my first year of fantasy baseball -- I cannot tell you how much I'm ready for FF after that cluster****.

I figured this would be a good thread prior to most team's drafts.

When the time comes we can start a "rate my team" thread, and also a "sit/start thread."

So, how many leagues are you joining?

What intrigues you the most?

What player/s flying under the radar do you think will impact the FF world the most?

Also, cheap plug --- Mr. Plow's league needs one more player. It's a fun IDP league. I'm sure he'll be along to promote it -- we only want handsome, well hung gentlemen like ourselves. It'd be fun to get a CPer into that last spot.

I knew he was the projected starter.

Just didn't know his projected workload or his ADP.

I may need to do a little research next year.

I posted this in it's own thread...then crazycoffey informed me there was a sticky thread, where it belongs. Now I feel like an idiot. But anyways, help me out here. I mostly want peoples' thoughts on Mark Ingram's capabilities this year, Kendall Wright's capabilities this year and I was wondering if any of you have any opinions as to whether or not AJ Green, Hakeem Nicks or Denarius Moore will even be starting to begin the season. I think I took too many risks at WR.

12 teams. Not keeper. $50 per team. Here is what I ended up with:

QB: Drew Brees
QB: Carson Palmer
WR: Hakeem Nicks
WR: AJ Green
WR: Denarius Moore
WR: Kendall Wright
WR: Randy Moss
WR: Michael Floyd
RB: Demarco Murray
RB: Peyton Hillis
RB: Mark Ingram
RB: Toby Gerhardt
TE: Tony Gonzalez
TE: Owen Daniels
K: Sebastian Janikowski
DEF: Seattle Seahawks
DEF: New York Jets
IDP: Sean Witherspoon
IDP: Jerod Mayo
IDP: Sean Lee
IDP: Von Miller

How did I do? I'm excited about Kendall Wright....he impressed me in college and has impressed me in preseason...I think he could be a sleeper, especially with the Britt-drama. Any suggestions on where I may need to improve?

Wright went a pick before me in one of the later rounds. I was very upset. I think he's going to be big time. Especially if Tenn. reminds Britt-less.

RB depth is a big issue. I like Murray a lot. I like PH is KC can ever get in goal line situations. Not a fan of Ingram in that NO mess, and Gerhardt will be an ok option if AP gets hurt.

My sleeper pick in the draft -- RYAN SUCCOPP!

Basically because KC can't score TDs.

Lol, true about Succop.

I am a little worried about RB...I think I'm gonna have to keep a close eye on the waiver wire and/or injuries and be ready to drop Floyd to pick up a more efficient RB. They say Ingram will be getting a lot of looks in goal line situations like Hillis, but who knows. With him being an early pick a couple years ago, I am hoping they start utilizing him more due to their investment in him...but after seeing some preseason results, I'm not so sure that will be the case. I'm hoping Gerhardt will be a steal...picked him up late and it seems logical that he may get some work since AP's injury concerns are so glaring...not to mention, I think they invested a round 2 pick for him in 2010. Then again, the Chiefs spent a round 2 on Mccluster that year....and he didn't even get drafted in our league last night. Who knows. I watched a lot of Wright clips a couple weeks ago...he really impresses me. I thought he bailed RG3 out of quite a few poor throws last year. The Titans seem to be pretty high on the guy so far. He's been scoring a lot in preseason.

Thanks for your input!

My starters are, I think, elite:

QB: Matt Ryan
RB: LeSean McCoy
RB: Matt Forte
WR: Greg Jennings
WR: AJ Green
WR: Dez Bryant
TE: Jared Cook
Def: Texans
K: whomever

But I love the boom potential of my backups:

QB: Andrew Luck
RB: Mark Ingram
RB: David Wilson
RB: Rashad Jennings
WR: Nate Washington
WR: Kendall Wright

Everybody in my draft blew off the Titans. I landed all three Titans in the last rounds. I could have snagged Jake Locker too if I didn't love Andrew Luck so much.

My wife picked in an 8 teamer. I think it was standard scoring, but not sure. She was having internet problems and a fussy 11 week old baby to care for.

peyton hillis rb
jonathan stewart rb
donald brown rb
cj spiller rb
brandon marshall wr
jeremy maclin wr

I wanted Hillis, just because I think he'll get a bunch of whatever TD's we can score and I am a Chiefs FF homer big time. What do y'all think?

I think Matt Ryan is going to have a good year.

What are your thoughts on Kendall Wright and Mark Ingram? Do you think Wright can make an immediate impact? Loving what I have seen from him in the preseason games.

AJ Green has me a little worried...I think I heard something about him having groin issues. Also read something on cbssports.com about teams presumably double teaming him this year. I took him....he dropped and dropped and dropped to the point where it was just stupid.

Looks stacked. I'm assuming you will do well. I have a tendency to be a Chiefs FF homer as well...hard not to be when it's the majority of what you hear about...

I'm thinking of dropping Michael Floyd for Dexter Mccluster of all people....Mccluster went undrafted.

Also thinking of dropping IDP, Von Miller for Justin Houston.

Good ideas? Bad ideas? Any thoughts?

All I care about is where the ball is going out of the QB's hands. And Locker throws it to three people: Washington, Wright, and Cook.

I think all three are safe bets. Wright is brilliant as a late rounder, because he will not only get tons of targets, but he has the capability to take off.

I think Washington is the most consistent, 7-reception, 80-yard game guy. Wright will get 2 and 3 catches for 40 yards, but also have games where he has 9 catches for 130 yards and 2 TDs. It's the classic Maclin vs. Jackson debate.

Ingam gets all the endzone touches. And if he can develop a little more, he'll get all of the other touches too. His main competition is Pierre Thomas. I need Pierre to start fading. They traded up 30 spots for Ingram. Give the man the ball.

It's been three years since I've been in a league. This is a 10 team, pretty standard scoring, no points per reception. TE not required.

1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/TE flex, 1 RB/WR flex, 1 K, 1 DEF

I had the 6th pick, so what do you think?

RB Jonathan Stewart
RB Daniel Thomas
RB Felix Jones
RB Ronnie Hillman ®
WR Victor Cruz
WR Marques Colston
WR Antonio Brown

I re-present Team Chiefs Jingoism;
12 man, traditional. I picked 12th, I know I'm weak at RBs, maybe a few surprises on the WRs will give me trade bait by week 6. But I'm not hating it right now....

So Brady at 6 and Lynch 2nd round with jackson third? That's pretty solid, IMO.

WRs Bey and Holmes, I wouldn't have went for, maybe Edwards in Seattle, or Blackmon in Jacksonville instead, but that's just my gut talking.

Damn we just got word on a real dilemma so thought I'd post here. One of our owners got his 3rd dui and is going to jail

Anyhow,we have an opening in a very old established league,$170 entry, draft this Friday night in my gameroom in St. Joe.12 owner,20 round draft, lots of unique rules and ways to earn cash back on a weekly basis.

This post is probably all for naught but we're scrambling and i thought what the hell,oh yeah if anyone is interested in driving up here you have a free place to crash too.

We use my fantasy league.com for scoring.
