Well, the high school team probably has a lot of players that will be recruited by legitimate D1 football programs, while Kansas doesn't have many or any of those. But I still don't buy it. Most of a high school team, even a great one, will still be made up of guys who won't play any college ball at all.

Size matters. Kids that have gone through years of college strength and conditioning will make up for some lack of raw talent.
