As true as most of those shots from the trailer are, I'd expect the ending to be as ambiguous as the book.

The Batman of that era is not a killer. I don't think he suddenly goes all "Batfleck in 'BvS'" on the Joker.

was it the miller version that htey made into an animation not to long ago? where he was super violent, even by batman standards? amazing film.

That was great. I was surprised at how close to the source material they stayed. The battle with Clark was almost frame for frame.

I actually didn't like those much. Generally tend to love Batman animateds too..

Killing Joke was a one shot written by Allen Moore. No real connection to the rest of what was going on in the DC universe at the time AFIK.

It's kind of a weird case. Something like that usually wouldn't be considered canon, but the story is the source of Barbara Gordon's paralysis, which definitely is canon.

There was a review that ripped it apart and said the fatal flaw is too much Batwoman backstory and not enough Joker backstory.

The issue should be with the comic, not the faithful adaptation.

Absolutely. The first 20 minutes prior for batgirl was unnecessary but didn't bother me too much. Hardcore comic fans probably didn't like that part too much. Hamill knocked it out for sure. I wish if anything there was a bit more joker but I'm happy. There is a brief after credit scene.

Soft R imo...but the material is adult.
