Godzilla: King of Monsters
So the next Godzilla movie released a teaser trailer and has a pretty cool viral marketing campaign going on right now.

Visit: www.monarchsciences.com to track Godzilla and see all the Monarch facilities across the globe. Thus far we've got Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah confirmed while Zilla's on the move, appearing to be heading to San Diego to drop the trailer at Comic-Con.

This actually looks great, and no one would be happier than me... Godzilla plays an outsize role in my childhood, I'd constantly look at some random building or antenna tower and wonder "is THAT how big Godzilla is?"

Yet the last two attempts barely even registered with me, the second one was marginally better but meh... yet this one just might be it, it looks to have some of the elements I loved SO much about Pacific Rim

Someone had posted the entire plot months ago and it seems more and more accurate.

I especially liked the other Titans waking up.

This has been something I wanted to happen since I was a little kid watching old 60's and 70's Godzilla marathons.

And honestly Legendary has done an excellent job of seeing what the fans want and giving it to them.

Want monsters fighting giant robots? Here you go!
Big budget Godzilla and King Kong remakes? Here you go!
An orgy of Kaiju battles? Here you go!

They aren't trying to win academy awards or political points just make great popcorn movies that fans/geeks of these properties want to see.

Exact same for me. I think my dad had nearly every Godzilla film ever made on VHS. I used to watch the shit out of them.
