I'm playing light side. I think one of the things I really like is how the game plays as a light side SW, it's like you're working to change the empire from within.

They'll probably be tuning the Ops from now until the game ends.

Yeah, I heard playing Light Side on Imps is super fun.

And yeah, I think they're just trying to make it easier so people can catch up quicker and experience the new content (which I heard is very difficult).

I'm wishing again that they allowed more than 8 characters per server. I played all my republic characters light. So the only way I can experience dark side with the republic is to sacrifice an imperial character on that server.

Spent 2.5 mill on Legacy ship upgrades last night but it looks like the really good Legacy shit isn't dropping till 1.3...

All I bought so far was the mailbox. Which is all sorts of awesome.

The mailbox and the dummies and the droid are all ****ing awesome, man. And I'm sorry, I guess I spent 3.1 million total on ship upgrades. Forgot I had bought the droid which I think was 500k. If the droid was 1 mil, then my total would go up to 3.6mil, which kind of sucks, I guess.

1.2 pretty much broke PvP.
Its crazy what is going on now in Warzones. People are melting incredibly fast now.

I think this patch should be an eye-opener to them about the testing process. Although they did offer titles as an incentive, since there wasn't character copy, there weren't a lot of people playing on the test server.

(Although, that said, I don't really believe the majority of people would have spent all that much time testing even if they'd have had copied 50s to work with - and frankly they need people leveling to test stuff on that server, too)

I don't PvP, but the impression I get is that the expertise changes mixed with the healing changes mean everybody's now doing more damage, with less damage reduction and healing. Which is definitely going to be a major change.

But to be honest every MMO that I've ever been a part of has had massive ongoing balance challenges, as well as major issues after every major patch. That's the main reason I was on the test server yesterday and not Tarro Blood, and why I was not the least bit surprised to see a patch this morning. Having to take the servers back down and recover the way they are today is I think a first though. Somebody really screwed the pooch there.

Im totally LOL'ing that this. How do you **** up so bad, so many times in 3 days. There should be a shit canning meeting at end of day today where at least a handful of people should be toast. The free month and pet I thought was a plea for forgiveness due to tues or wednesday's blunder, but now I think they are just incompetent and know it.

The new flashpoing on Story Mode is ok, and fun. On hard mode, the first boss is ****ing insane. We gave it a go for a few times last night with no luck. Will try again tonight.

I'd assume the pet and month were always planned. What happened Tuesday or Wednesday? Taking rated WZs off the patch? 1.2 didn't even hit until Thursday....

I'm not sure what they did this morning, having rollback's to 1.1.5 in certain areas. That's just crazy. Can't remember seeing that before.

The funniest thing is, people are bitching about the free month. Since it only goes to people with 50s. So you have people complaining that they play multiple characters, and so didn't make it to 50. I even saw one guy say something about having 50 levels across his account, so he should get it. Yeah, like you can't get to 10 in 4 or 5 hours (and that's going slowly, not skipping anything on the starter world).

At this point I could play 4 or 5 characters to 30 in the time it took me to finish my first class story. Literally over 200 hours on my sage. My time played on my Sith Warrior last night as I finished chapter 1 was around 40 hours (she's level 29.5). So, no, fella on the swtor forums, I'm sorry, but your 5 level 10s should not net you as much as someone else's level 50.

They accidently released a partial bit of 1.2 on Wednesday, causeing a lot of people to not be able to loging, and having to download the entire game again.

It just seems that everytime they turn around, they a messing shit up.
