The double whammy was not just the Chiefs drafting Blackledge but the Donkeys getting Elway. If they took Marino at least they'd have a chance to beat Elway a few times and possibly a SB.

Regardless of what they won they were better than ****ing Blackledge. Who says they don't mesh with our talent in a different way and get there? I would have loved to see Stephon Paige with Marino or Kelly. I got a chubby just typing it.

'83 draft and '84 draft is eerily similar to '12 draft and '13 draft in terms of QB prospects.
