Fantasy Football Talk- 2017

Let's make a thread to shit talk and talk in general about this fantasy football season.

I myself have a hard time locating some good research materials and for one, don't want to spend a shit ton of time on it. By making this thread, I am actually spending more time on this fantasy football season than I usually do.

I have printed off some depth charts for WR and RB, which I think will help with the live draft and choosing players in mid to late rounds.

Anything else you guys keep handy for the live draft?

Post your teams and leagues here after drafting.

Good luck!!!

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Lewdog played Wentz against the Giants, which was a shitty matchup I thought, and lost last week because of it.

The QB carousal is not kind!!!

No it is not.

I've started the wrong QB for the last 3 weeks.

Let's see if I can **** it up this week.

Mariota vs. Texans
Stafford vs. Vikings

I'm not starting Mariota, so he's sure to go off.

Went the zero QB method in a super flex (2 QB) league -- on accident.

3-0 and leading the league in scoring with Palmer and Smith as my QBs.

Palmer, Smith, Mahomes
Hunt, Hyde, Rodgers, Blount, Smallwood
Green, Cooper, Hogan, Fitzgerald, Ginn, Doctson, Gabriel

I'd hate to sit Stafford but Minnesota defense looked great against the Bucs last week.

I am not sold on the Texans defense but they are at home where they sometimes play great.

I'd run with Mariota on a bit of a risk.

Wentz. And you can blame me for his week 3 performance, I picked him up after week 2.

Don't have Mariota anymore, had to cut him. Injuries, limited bench, and Luck in my IR spot keep me with only 1 (other) QB.

Plus he reminds me too much of pre-2017 Alex Smith. He runs some but doesn't seem to throw into the endzone and if the Titans get close it seems they avoid every pass in the playbook.

Mother **** Isaiah Crowell. Never again will I play him. All the "experts" overwhelmingly said to start him over Tevin Coleman or Blount. I wanted to play one of the other guys but I figured I'd give Crowell and the "experts" one last shot. The guy hasn't gotten more than 3 points this year. I know Cleveland sucks but he got a decent amount of points last season. Only reason I drafted him was because he was ranked like 14th or something among RBs and **** if I know any better. RBs are an enigma these days anyway.
Had to get that off my chest. If you have Crowell on your fantasy team, I feel your pain.

So I'm sitting in 1st place in my league and I've scored over 100 points more than the team in 2nd place. I was offered a trade today. What does everyone think?

I give up: Ameer Abdullah and DeVante Parker
I get: Jimmy Graham

I don't think I necessarily HAVE to make a trade but my TE position is probably the weakest on my team (outside of WR depth).

My team:

QB: Marcus Mariota, Matthew Stafford
RB: Ezekiel Elliott, Kareem Hunt, Ameer Abdullah, Bilal Powell, Wendell Smallwood
WR: A.J. Green, DeAndre Hopkins, Devante Parker, Donte Moncrief, Zay Jones
TE: Delanie Walker, Austin Seferian-Jenkins
K: Will Lutz
DEF: Philadelphia Eagles

His Team:

QB: Ben Roethlisberger, Derek Carr
RB: Lamar Miller, Joe Mixon, Jonathan Stewart, Latavius Murray, Giovani Bernard

WR: Julio Jones, Adam Thielen, Rishard Matthews, Allen Hurns
TE: Travis Kelce, Jimmy Graham
K: Phil Dawson
DEF: Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans

What do you guys think? I'm leaning no right now but open to opinions.

I have Graham, he's been very pedestrian so far and I struggle every week to start him or the NYG TE I got off the waiver wire.

No chance I am making that trade. Graham is currently the #24 scoring TE in standard scoring league, Walker is #5. I don't see your team getting any better making this trade. I like both players you are giving up more than Graham, though I'm not loving Parker as much as I did preseason the way things are going in Miami so far.
