I don't think he'll be better at Guard. Dude can't stay healthy. Told you last week what I'd do with him.

Doc seems to be doing just fine at RG, so let's not mess with that. I'm beginning to think Fulton is a better C than Morse, but this isn't the time to be screwing around with the O-line. Re-sign Fulton and let Weitzman, Ehinger, and Devey fight it out in camp next year.

I'm not entirely convinced Morse shouldn't be shut down for the year but I'm not sure why, if that makes any sense.
I agree that Fulton's been better at C than Morse this year. But Morse has never been worse at C in his entire career. It's not just the physical ability; he looks confused a lot. For a guy who came into the league with an innate sense of how to feel danger and provide help to linemates at the right time, that seems to have completely vanished. I'm not at all inclined to give up on Morse because as a rookie he was one of the best Cs in the league and I'm convinced he can easily get back there again. But something's just not been right this year.

I think his troubles stem from not being 100% physically, which throws him off mentally. I think they should extend Fulton before he's allowed to hit Free Agency. He has flaws but he's solid and man, they just seem to need him each and every season for a long stretch of games. |

DJs post made me feel better about being confused about Morse. When you see the league adjust to an offense(wildcat) or a unique player(kap) there is early success then the defense is fine tuned and if not sustainable shut down. Those are the obvious ones I can think of but I wonder if that is going on at all positions. I wonder if defenses are doing something different adjusting for Morse's strengths.

Since this is partially a LG discussion I don't think it's too off topic to bring up the Ehinger question. Is he still hurt or is he really behind Weitzman and Fulton on the LG depth chart?
