My problem with Skyler, is that she is written in such a way as to be in the command position every time something happens between herself and Walt. For example, the champagne Walt bought. He bought expensive stuff, and surely someone as smart as Walt would know not to do that, but his character does so anyways to give Skyler that reason to chew his ass off about it. It just doesn't make sense. Walt is a tactical genius and is brilliant, yet when it comes to his wife she always gets the better of him. I think it is due to poor writing, with the writers purposely slanting the board in her favor to giver her clout on the show. This is how I see it.

Alsooo, when she defiantly told Walt to his face that she slept with that one dude and was not sorry about it at all... yeah, she is not going to win over any male viewers with that shit.

Hmmmm... I don't 'hate' many TV characters and Skyler is no exception.

She's not a good person. Even at the beginning of the series she was demeaning to Walt. The more he gained power outside of their marriage the more she tried to control it. She, like many, seems to view white collar crime as acceptable while condemning Walt's crime. She tends to place herself in an ivory tower assuming moral high ground when she is consistently lacking in the qualities to speak from such a position.

She's a compelling character, but not a 'likeable' one. It doesn't change the fact that people say stupid ass shit on the internet that is overall meaningless. I mean that's part of the problem. People say shit like "I wish so and so would drive their car off a bridge" and it translates to "I do not approve of their actions."

I liked this show much better when they were cooking meth and robbing trains. So far I have not enjoyed this last season.

I agree to an extent, as well. But what I like about it is that Jesse is so unstable that he should be way out on a limb. He's losing it and grasping at straws. He should be totally wrong, he should be jumping to rash conclusions based on the pressures around him. But he's dead right.

Another thing I do have a bit of an issue with is this guy who makes people disappear. Sal keeps saying you can't take it back. You can't go back on it once you make the call. But now we've seen TWICE that there are actually no real consequences to going back on disappearing.

Or maybe I'm misunderstanding/misremembering all that's happened.
