Would you bring in Hester?

If he's released. ...that is. Think Toub would want him in KC?

www.rotoworld.com

New Bears coach Marc Trestman admits Devin Hester could be done in Chicago.

"(We) had a chance to talk a few minutes but we didn’t get specific on anything," Trestman said. "Just an opportunity to get to know each other but not to put in concrete what his role would be if he winds up coming back." Trestman's "winds up coming back" remark makes it clear Hester is more likely to be cut than retained. It sounds like both sides want a fresh start.

you dont spend money on the highest paid special teams coach in the league to not now be a factor in returning the ball

we will be a factor in the return game, they will spend money and/or find a KR that does that. Whether its Hester, a draft pick, someone. It certainly is not any of the slow players currently on the team, that is for sure.

Fair enough. As others have said, he's not going to be the X-factor he once was. If he comes cheap, great, do it. Just keep him off the field on off/def for the most part.

Harvin priority over hester.let the midget get smoked on returns IF he can hold on. Returners a diminishing role in the nfl. Hed have to be cheap.

signing a returner has become perhaps the most wasteful thing any team can do in FA these days. you can draft a young late rnd player with return skills for pennies and maybe he becomes more for your team later.
