Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.

I don't know how I even got into the alpha, but I decided to install the game just for kicks and ended up loving it.

Went ahead and pre-ordered on Best Buy since I had a gift card for it. Apparently the system for sending out beta keys is messed up and there's a bunch of people waiting but considering it's just a beta I don't really care if I get in or not as long as I can get the real game when it comes out. I'm already pretty sold on the game, the raid in the alpha was super fun and the game simply looks and plays amazingly well. And this is coming from someone who's never been much of an MMO player. Of course, if Best Buy wants to remain a respectable company I'm sure they'll have their keys sent out tomorrow.

Thought about this, wasn't sure if somehow the Beta Key would be revoked if I cancelled the preorder

I think they want as many people to play it as they can, that's why they are giving everyone 3 extra beta codes. I think you'll be fine. I'd give you one of my extra ones but I don't know if a PS4 code would work on the PS3.
