1. Geno Smith, QB; NY Jets
- People think Rex Ryan is a menace, but the guy is a real players coach who is innovative and supportive. This is a guy who got his team to back to back AFC Championship games only three seasons ago, but who had to deal with the after effects of horrible drafts, signings and decisions by one of the worst GM's in recent memory in the now fired Mike Tannebaum. Geno won't have to start right away with either Dave Garrard or Mark Sanchez potentially getting the call in 2013. Geno has all the tools and talent to be a true game changing, franchise QB. It may not happen this next season, but I think Geno is going to be pretty good when it's all said and done.

(I also think that the two other picks that they Jets made in the first round are going to have a chance to be very successful very quickly. Dee Milliner was the #1 CB coming out of high school and he's been that guy for his whole career. Very solid, with excellent speed and instincts. He'll immediately step into Revis' vacated spot and there isn't going to be much of a drop off. As well, Sheldon Richardson steps into Mike DeVito's spot (who is now a Chief). DeVito is just a guy, but Richardson has the skill set to be dominating out of the 34 DE position.

To tell you the truth, I'm a little envious of the Jets. The Chiefs get Alex Smith, Sean Smith and Mike DeVito, while the Jets get Geno Smith, Dee Milliner and Sheldon Richardson. I think that they set themselves up for the future substantially better than what the Chiefs did at three key, game determining positions.

2. Tavon Austin, WR; St. Louis Rams

- He'll immediately start at the spot left vacant by Danny Amendola and instantly give the Rams more speed and talent. A true football player that plays as fast as a track star, Austin has all the potential to be a Percy Harvin level game changer.

(And like the Jets, the Rams also picked up a number of guys who should provide high level impact sooner rather than later and help QB Sam Bradford finally play up to his draft position. I thought that Barrett Jones was the best offensive lineman in this draft, and the rest of their draft could be starters sooner rather than later. I would have taken either the Jets or Rams drafts over the Chiefs at every single draft pick.)

3. Barkevious Mingo, LB; Cleveland Browns

- Playing opposite of the newly acquired Paul Kruger, Mingo should wreak havoc. He's got the speed, length, athleticism and instincts to potentially have a Von Miller level impact in his rookie season.

4. Larry Warford, OG; Detroit Lions

- I thought that Warford was the best guard in the draft and he should immediately start Day 1 for the Lions. Huge with superb feet and strength, he graded out as the best interior lineman in the SEC in 2012 (yep, even over "generational talent" Chance Warmack). Potential All-Pro who will immediately help the Lions in both pass protection and run blocking.

5. Tie:

Robert Woods, WR; Buffalo Bills
Eddie Lacy, RB; Green Bay Packers
Phillip Thomas, S; Washington Redskins

All should immediately contribute to their teams.

Logic would say Eric Fisher. He was the #1 pick.

And of course Jarvis Jones. Not a player in a better situation than him.

Jones is in a great spot, but Pittsburgh rookies never do anything. (save Rapistburger)
