So, I didn't see a thread started, and all the others are pretty maxed out to the point where a fresh thread would be needed soon either way.

Time to share the run up to ST & and another memorable year in the making!

I'd like to see him as a good starter in the future but adding Brandon Finnegan to Kansas City Royals bullpen makes it even better for 2015.
You said at the winter meetings that he will start off spring training and they want him to be a starting pitcher but if not they want him to either go to the bullpen or start off in AAA

FWIW, the Rays are going to be one of the worst teams in baseball for the next five-seven years. Friedman cocked up his last several drafts and the new GM has set fire to many of the valuable assets they still had.

Sounds like they really need to get out of St. Petersburg. Their stadium proposals keep getting shot down when their current "park" is in a terrible spot from what I hear. I'm not really educated on the politics of the entire ordeal, but they desperately need a new park.

I want to a Rays game this year when I was in TB attending a conference for work. The entire stadium is misaligned. For example, the main scoreboard was directly across from 3B and not home plate.

I have a challenge for you guys...

My cousin (lives on the east coast) is looking for a 2014 Royals AL Champions Pennant and can not find one ANYWHERE online. Apparently most places are sold out with no intention of getting more. Does anyone know where I can find one? I have looked at all the regular spots including Sportsnutz and no luck. Any local spots I can call that may still have one in stock?

They have them at Hibbet Sports in my hometown. In fact, I believe they are discounted. I would have no issue buying one and sending it.

Not a chance in hell. The Royals fully intend to develop him as a starter, and he can't do that without working on his secondary pitches, which he would not be able to do out of the bullpen in KC. The Royals don't need to "develop" him as a relief pitcher, as long as he has 1 or 2 good pitches, he can pitch in relief if they need him.
