Chiefs Ex Chiefs, where are they now? - Page 11

A while back, Rico said that he kept up on ex players. I figured that with rosters still at 90, that it may be interesting to see what guys are still on rosters and if they will make their clubs. I'll start with what I know, including what Rico shared.

Stanzi has bounced around a lot. After the Chiefs, he went to the Jags. He has also been on the Giants, Texans and Lions rosters. He worked out with the Pats in March. Last I knew, he participated in the Cleveland Browns minicamp.

Moeaki has been on a different team every year since being released by the Chiefs. He has played for the Bills, Seahawks, Falcons and currently, the Bears

Bernard Pollard has been out of the league for a year since tearing his ACL in Tennessee. I think we all know that Cassel is a Titan now. I mentioned the other day that Eric Kush is a Ram. Glenn Dorsey is still a 49er, though he finished last year on IR. Tyson Jackson is still a Falcon. Thigpen has been out of the league since 2014. Brandon Carr is in the final year of his contract with Dallas and took a $3mil pay cut to stay on the team this year. Besides the obvious that everyone knows like Flowers, Stepenson, Hudson, etc... Are there any others that you know of?

Can't find anything about Avery after KC cut him. But whoever wrote up his bio for rotoworld seemed pretty bitter. They said that his career floundered in KC due to Reid's dunk and sunk offense and captain check down Alex Smith. Sounded like Ckaythan wrote it.

Chiefs fans reactions to the Avery release were not surprising ones. One thing folks did bring up is Albert Wilson, who will have a shot to get those snaps at receiver. Considering the investment in Wilson is so little, it would be terrific for the Chiefs -- and their salary cap -- if he worked out. Here's what I wrote when Wilson seemed to overtake Avery's spot. Everybody in here used to bust my balls when I said Catapano had talent. Why Chiefs had him playing on the inside on the d line I have NO idea since he was drafted as a pass rushing OLB. Now he is starting for Jets at Outside Linebacker in both a 4-3 and 3-4 formations. Its a shame we let him go...we really couldve used him now.
We play the Jets week 3.
