I cancelled DirecTV a few weeks ago because we moved out to California, and just today moved from ATT to Verizon because of poor cell reception at our new abode.

That's all I have to offer in this conversation.

Yup and now they own TBS, TNT, CNN and HBO. That's going to add a shitload more customers of different audiences. Nerdy people from HBO (GOT), politics from CNN, baseball from TBS and NBA from TNT.

None of these mergers are good for us. It limits competition, innovation and choices. That ALWAYS ends badly for consumers. The average consumer get less choice and higher prices.


If the ATT monopoly would have been allowed to stay in place, the cellular and smartphone era would have been delayed for who knows how long.

What does At&T hate the most on earth?

1. Pots/Dsl customers. At&t hates them and wish they would just go away. At&t tries their best to give these customers crappy service.

2. USA outside plant employees. At&t would move every job overseas if they could. Obviously they cant with these positions and it pains them that they have to employ these positions to operate.

3. Rest of employees left in USA that havent been eliminated or moved overseas.
