It was a hell of a run

It hurts, yes it hurts badly. But back in April no one had us going to the World Series. We were dreaming of just making the playoffs and we go to the last out of Game 7 of the World Series. We can all spend the next few months playing the what-if game but it came down to 2 teams, 1 game and 1 out. Sadly we ended up on the short end of that stick but we made one hell of a run.

Been a hell of a season and I know several of us hung onto every pitch, every swing and every run all season long. Even though we lost, it was all worth it and I would take a World Series loss over watching 2 other teams in the World Series any day!

Perez was on one ****ing leg against the opposing team's best pitcher. If he gets on base, you're PR'ing for him anyway, so, given his chances at the plate, why not use Willingham, who is a vastly superior hitter against LHP and might be able to run out something on the infield.

I refuse to be depressed right now. Just an awesome season. Would have loved to have won it, but I'll remember this run for the rest of my life. An absolute blast.

Please talk about the action on the field. There were a couple of times, they were showing Bum sitting on the bench and nearly missed a pitch in live action.

I liked the part Royals won game 6 10-0 that was my favorite part.

Ventura is something special on the mound & hope he is here for years competing in moar of these World Series.

I do love this team & next year Royals can be better they really came together and will build from that.

That's the thing with sports. Like most emotional things, it can be really painful when your young and emotionally developing. But those emotions will hook her, and when they win it all one day, her joy will be unparalleled.

This team reminded me of a Marty Ball baseball team. Do just enough to win with lesser talent, play over your head and just miss out to a way better roster. If just one of the 4 P's (Panik, Panda, Posey, Pence) was on our team, we would have won easily.

Respectfully I disagree. We could have had all of the "4 P's" and still would have lost with the way Bumbundle of sticksner pitching. He was lights out and he was the difference, not the "4 P's". I dont believe their roster from top to bottom was way better, they just had a pitcher that we could not touch. Sad ending to a phenomenal run. Amazing to experience it but heartbreaking in the end.
