This is how vegans work. first they will attack you with, you are going to die from cancer or a heart attack because you eat meat when i tell them, i dont eat beef and pork all the time! THen they move on to, showing video's of Dogs being used as food in foreign countries. WHen you tell them, well if im hungry and it tastes good, get me the hot sauce im eating! lol Then when that doesnt work, they tell you, you are eating death on a plate and you are a murderer and thats it! lol

I guess the real irony for me is that a good chunk of our income comes from the cattle on our land.....

The only vegetarian I know does it for religious reasons (Hindu). No meat but eggs and of course dairy are fine.

The taco part has been replaced with burritos. If I do go out to eat, I have found that ethnic places like Indian, Thai and even Mexican food provide decent options. My wife is an excellent cook so she has had made the transition easier. I still miss pizza a little bit, but not the grease that comes with it.

I get that some vegans are annoying, but they're a clear minority advocating for something they feel strongly about (trust me - it's not fun eating and living vegan). At least appreciate that they're taking a stand for something they believe in which at its core doesn't infringe upon the rights of anyone else.

Yeah, some of this is tough to parse. Perhaps TC just worded it poorly.

I try to reconcile myself with the statement that he doesn't judge others, right after he accuses 'them' of a lot of hypocrisy and ignorance.

But more fundamentally, I can't decipher who feels differently from what, and how TC thinks it's hypocritical and/or ignorant.

Who is hypocritical and how? Or who is ignorant and of what are they ignorant? For that matter, who are 'they' and how do they think or act differently?

I'm not judging his statement, nor criticizing it as erroneous or praising it as prescient. I'm honestly confused what he is talking about.
