Andy Reid wants DJ to turn into a coach for the rest of the season
Interesting nugget from Reid's presser. I noted last night that I thought our young ILBs could benefit from DJ just being around, telling them what he is seeing from their game and opponents. It looks like that is exactly what Andy is going to have him do.

DJ has stated before that he wants to be a coach and its fair to say he'd be awesome at it. When he retires, he needs to get a gig here ASAP. So, DJ will be around to see where this team can go after all, just as it should be.

I know we gripe about Andy a lot, and he gets a lot of well-deserved criticism, but the guy certainly tries to do right by his players. Good for him.

Once surgery finished, Derrick Johnson intends to help #Chiefs LBS prep for SB run. "My job now is to help us get a ring any way possible."
