Seems like they are going to cut Tamba and hope another team picks him up on the waivers, so the next team is responsible for the remaining '17 salary (4m?).

This is going to backfire and they should just keep him.

Well I mean what's the huge downfall if we cut him right now? Yeah, we lose $300k in cap space but we're not realistically doing anything with the money right now anyways. Plus we get another million back next year.

His contract was ****ed from the beginning and it will probably go down as Dorsey's worst decision in his years here.
