i kind of figured as much. It was a cheap call, and would be pissed if it happened against the chiefs.

That said, I wont cry too much over it!

I couldn't figure out any justification for that call, not even a bad one. If you want to investigate fixing games, start with the official who threw that flag.

It's just part of another typical Chargers loss. This franchise can't just lose a game like a normal team, it has to be a big production, complete with blown 20+ point leads, laughable calls from the refs, and embarrassing turnovers in the 4th quarter.

It was a terrible call. Should have been 28-17 at that point. I like to think the Chargers would have found a way to blow it anyway. It also set up the fake punt run up the middle. The players had to be terrified of the long snapper during that play

That's what I thought during the game.

And then to hear Trent Dilfer sitting there in disbelief that the Charger player did what he did and acting like it was a clear cut penalty was funny.

SD got screwed. And the Packers got screwed also.

Didn't they just make up that rule this year? I've never heard of it before.

Can't touch the center on ST snaps. They can on shotgun passing plays though right?

They make up so many damn rules as they go along they are hard to follow.

Oh well. The L is good for at least a couple places better in the draft at least. I'm not stupid, I know we're not going anywhere this year. Still would have been nice to win though.

The good news for the Chargers is that they get to fly to the east coast and play the Eagles on Sunday.

I don't get it. Clearly objective and not fossilized at all expert Jim Tunney said he was fine with the call.
