It's a huge benefit compared to buying insurance and never needing it.

After working in a cell phone store for a couple of years I wish everyone would have it. It makes things much easier if it breaks, but there are always those who swear they never need it. Of course 6 months later they come back in and cry like Saul said, except for when you say "there's nothing I can do for you", they get really pissed and swear up and down that you are the worst person ever. Those were always the worst days working...
