Tips for Buying Airline Tickets.

My bad if I'm creating a thread for something mundane, but I'm looking to get the best price on some tickets to California around thanksgiving.

So, which website/app does CP use to get the best deals on airline tickets?

Which days of the week are the cheapest as far as ticket prices are concerned?

Any other tips?

Yes, atc would know the nature of the emergency.

About your journey. Did you happen to steal anything or commit any crime on the high seas? If you did so, you can truthfully be called a pirate. Maybe one of the only we have on Chiefsplanet. Please advise us of what your pirate name will be.

Captain Market Researchbeard doesn't sound too good.

I don't know if it's a crime, but I plundered the supply of Nutella in the officer's dining room on a daily basis. Does that count?

Signed, Rainbeard

I kind of like Captain Rainbeard as a moniker. (Looks thoughtfully at upper left corner.) I don't actually have a beard, though.

One time on a cruise, I asked for a water cup, and instead took soda from the water fountain. I think that counts.

Clarification needed. If it was an orange soda that you needed to prevent scurvy, it might not count as piracy.

The delicious sweetness of 23 flavors makes the theft morally ambiguous, unless it was more than your third of the day, in which case it's piracy.

Yeah I hate it as well. I have to fly for business several times a year and I fly to Belize every February. I prefer Delta, but end up on United flights most of the time because of connections, or cost considerations.

I don't know what it is, but 9/10 I have an unexpected delay in Denver. DEN has my number, I hate that airport with a passion. It's so bad that if I actually manage to get on a flight without a long delay, or cancellation, I'm surprised.

About a month ago was my latest DEN delay. I (in theory) had a 1 hour layover and it ended up being a 6 1/2 layover.

Don't even get me started about the magical shrinking leg room and some of the stuff you hear, see and smell once aboard the flying Greyhound.

As a bonus, about half the time I end up with a monster Bertha seated in the middle row next to me, with the dreaded fat rolls hanging over the armrest.
