What a waste of time. I’m not singling you out because I do the same damn thing every ****ing year. I used to enjoy it.

Planning on players who will fall to the Chiefs only to have them trade up to pick a player you had in the 6th round. I’m not doing it anymore because when I see players go to other teams that I wanted on the Chiefs & see the Chiefs draft developmental players & special teamers...it just makes me mad.

I’m done with it.

None of the players the Chiefs drafted was even on my list or yours. I can’t tell if these were Andy’s picks or Veach’s but I don’t see any starters tonight. Mahomes knows what it’s like playing on a team you need to score every possession.

Done venting.

I’m not watching tomorrow because what’s the point? It’s not enjoyable anymore.

Oh I think both Breeland and Nnadi are future starters. I really, really liked Breeland but I didn't think he'd have to be taken that high. Nnadi is one of the top few nose tackle prospects in this draft. They might not be impact players year one, but they'll be the future.

I don't think Dorian amounts to anything more than a nickel linebacker/special teamer, but if he's really good at it then he's worth a late 3rd in the end.

I had really high hopes for the draft this year so I’m disappointed in the picks. I wanted 3 starters on defense tonight. They didn’t get that. I had Breeland in the 6th round & not a candidate as a trade up to acquire him.

I hope you are right but there’s a part of me worried that Dorsey was the best talent evaluator & Veach rode Mahomes coattails Into the GM job.

Out of all of the selections Nnadi, was truly a " pure position" player. Speaks and O'Daniels were standout SPARQ guys who have scheme versatility and Watts tested poorly due to added weight.

Ultimately, Veach looks at tape but metrics still factor in but it isn't mandatory like it is/was with Dorsey.

I can't imagine Speaks scored that high in the sparq rating, no?

I don't know anything about SPARQ, but that table says the NFL average is 0.0 Z score so he is considerably above NFL average?

EDIT: I just looked at 2017 from the link above and Tanoh has a considerably higher Z score than Speaks, so maybe it's a meaningless measure anyway.
