With Alex at the helm it seemed like any key injury was just absolutely deflating.

But with a guy who can put a team on his back and win, injuries just seem kinda 'meh.'

Nice to know we're always capable of winning no matter who goes down.

This is absolutely true. And also one of the big reasons why a great to elite QB is the most important thing you can have on your roster.

Every team has injuries but teams with stud QBs can cover up for those losses much, much more easily. Hell, we’ve already saw Mahomes make our offense look good with nothing but backups last year (aside from Schwartz). His playing style in particular covers up for holes even more than most because of the many different ways he can beat the defense.
