BTW, I absolutely loved how it included what's going on in race relations/cop relations today. It wasn't preachy or heavy handed, but it was in there.

During his speech later on he basically says "The cops alone can't fix all our problems. We need people to act, but you can't become what you're fighting against."

That's not word for word but how perfect is that?

I'm about midway through episode 10, good stuff but its getting boring without Cottonmouth in it. I wish they would've just kept back the Diamondback storyline and continued with Cottonmouth, not to mention Diamondback is a caricature, whereas Cottonmouth was a representative of Harlem crime and a deep character that wouldn't have been as great as Fisk, but they were working around to make his past seem similar to Fisks. I was bummed to see the transition, and it took alot of steam out of the season for me.

To be honest that suit he wore was just BAD.

Reminded me of the Green Goblin in the first Spiderman movie. Not that bad, but close...

They stuck too close to the comics.



They showed Luke Cage in the old Power Man costume the earlier episodes but quickly moved past that and they should have done that with Diamondback too.

What I'm saying is that all that needed to be established long before the episode in which the event in question happened...

It was like half the season went by and then they handed you a folder, said "oh by the way here's a whole bunch of character development we forgot to include" and then had her go nuts.

Had the same exact issue with Diamondback's introduction and backstory. This guy's out there the whole time, intricately tied in with Cage (not a surprise in and of itself...), but they never, ever foreshadow anything about who he is or where he comes from. It's just *plop* 'here's the crazy bible-quoting guy!' *bang, bang, bang*

I don't like infodumps like that in any form of entertainment, whether it's a TV show or a movie or a novel or a game. It should have been handled much better than it was.

The suit was terrible. I think (like with the soundtrack at times) they were trying too hard to invoke a 70's vibe.
