I don't see Morse starting right away at Center. It's not like we're talking about an NFL-ready Center. Everyone including Reid knows Morse will be learning a new position.

If anyone watched the presser that day he simply stated no and acted like he wanted to move on to the next question. I didn't take it as an emphatic no like the reporters wrote. Just that he didn't want to talk about it. It's his former player, if it was no he's asking for too much Reid wouldn't say that. If they would be at the right price he wouldn't say that either so I really don't buy that he would in no way have interest unless he's thinks he's washed up and he wouldn't say that about any player, one of his formers or not

At that time we had no cap space also. now that we've signed Houston for peanuts we have 8 mill to blow on something.

Depends on how they feel what Mathis has left and what he's willing to take. If it's a decent deal I'm all for the competition

Plus if Stephenson doesn't step up an Allen has to man the RT spot they got Mathis at RG and morse ready to go at C if Kush can't handle it

Even if Stephenson beats out Allen, Allen would be just as good as the swing T as we could hope for. I'd like to believe Sherrod could stay healthy and compete but I think it's just as good of chance he will never stay healthy and be a contributor. Tardif I hope gets a chance at T too besides G because they might need him there
