A little help...
I've never wanted to post one of these, but my wife and I are on day 3 at children's mercy with our 3.5 year old.

He has had a 104 degree temp for 4 days that docs are having a hard time keeping down. Full body rash, swelling, and can't keep anything in. His blood vessels keep bursting from IV's because of needle anxiety. He has has the current IV in for about 24 hours now.

The scary part is that nobody could figure out what was wrong with him when we first got here....everything they tested him for which they were certain was the issue, came back negative....frustrating.

They are now pretty certain Kawasaki Disease....something that is easily treated when caught early, but there are no tests to detect it. I'm hoping they are right this time...

The toughest thing is when your 3.5 year old looks at you and asks you to fix him, but you can't....

Whatever your beliefs are, please send some positive vibes his way.

My nephew had Kawasaki's and while scary at the time, he got through it just fine and has absolutely no lingering effects.
