Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Good deal but I'm still waiting for those guys to ship out some 5.56 ammo I ordered two weeks ago. They need to hire a few more guys in their shipping department.

ATF pushes bullet ban, threatens top-selling AR-15 rifle

The article has a link to the actual ATF notice - ATF FRAMEWORK FOR DETERMINING WHETHER
CERTAIN PROJECTILES ARE “PRIMARILY INTENDED FOR SPORTING PURPOSES”
WITHIN THE MEANING OF 18 U.S.C. 921(a)(17)(C)
- and in it they also declare that the 22lr projectile is considered to be armor piercing but they are "giving it an exemption". Who are these clowns?

Figured I would go ahead and order up 6 boxes of green tips since the feds plan to ban them.

PMC X-Tac 5.56mm Ammo M855 62 Grain Green Tip Full Metal Jacket-Box of 20 - $10.99

They still have them in stock at https://www.targetsportsusa.com/

Sorry, but you're falling for one of the classic traps (plus 'never start a land war in Asia'). We think telling Dear Leader to 'suck it' will cause him woe. In reality, that sort of nonsense is his idea of a fun evening. Try telling him to 'tear his kneepads', that'll bring him down.

I have a Beretta .40 PX Storm and I love it. Only thing that sucks is you pretty much have to use the loader to load the damn magazine.

this is typical of the current administration to bypass congress and use the other federal branches to do the bidding of the whitehouse. I just hope congress has the strength to overcome the president's treasonous ways.

Doesn't change the fact that Obama breaks the rules to support his agenda.

That's what pisses me off. They got completely fisted when trying to do things through proper channels, and now they are abusing a branch's power to try and push through a completely reeruned banning.

What do you mean "They got completely fisted when trying to do things through proper channels...."?

Outside of Obamacare, when has BO ever tried to get things done via congress?

Picked up a Remington 1903A3 from Cabela's this morning. I don't know much about them, but I had to have it after fondling it for a while. I'm pretty sure the stock has been refinished, but it doesn't bother me all that much. The action is smooth, and the bore nice and shiny. Overall, its in pretty good condition.

Nice. I have one of those I inherited from my Dad. He had taken the original stock off and replaced with a custom one and an old Weaver scope. The stock cracked so I put the original back on. Gotta say it still shoots better than I can point it. From what I have seen they are not exactly cheap these days have considered retiring it but what is the fun in that?.
