Night of the Living Dead was a classic. Bruiser was probably the worst movie I've ever watched. RIP George. |

'Dawn of the Dead' = classic 'Day of the Dead' = sucked 'The Crazies' and 'Land of the Dead' = good RIP George. You created a sub-genre in horror movies.

Wrong Romero, you're thinking of Cesar Romero.

RIP. A true innovator. Pop culture has ripped him off for the past 50 years
Most of his movies were crap though.

I think I saw "Night of the Living Dead" when I was about 14 or so and it scared the shit out of me as I watched it alone in the dark. Was scariest movie I ever saw until the Exorcist.

Oh ****!
Dawn of the Dead is still one of my favorite films EVER. I literally re-watched the remake two or three nights ago and parts of the original within the last week. I have probably seen Dawn of the Dead 40-50 times and Day of the Dead 30-40. He had other films which were thought provoking (Martin) at the very least. Amazing guy for the horror genre... |

Martin Landau of Mission Impossible fame. Dead at 89.
That would be the original Mission Impossible with Peter Graves, brother of James Arness, aka Matt Dillon. That's Matt Dillon from Gunsmoke. Not the actor Matt Dillon. God, I feel old.
