August 26 has been a very magical day historically for the Royals.

August 26, 1991 (Sabes no hitting the Chi Sux)

Brett's peak in the 1980 season?

.407 when he went 5-5 at Milwaukee

Alex Gordon's walk off HR against Geoff Perkins to down the Twinkies?

That was on August 26, 2014

I could go on and on. They had a stretch where they won THIRTEEN straight years on my birthday!

So I gotta feeling and a good feeling we are winning tonight and August 26, 2017 WILL be the night Moose catches Balboni and why not, BREAKS THE DAMN RECORD!!!

He was throwing a perfect game. You just can't take him out there.

He has to be one of the hardest pitchers to manage. A lot of guys struggle later in games, but it's not like Hammel slogs his way into the 6th. He seems to always pitch great the first five innings. Looks sharp, few runs, really low pitch count. Most managers just aren't going to take a starter out in the 6th when he's cruising and only at 50-60 pitches. You almost have to do it with Hammel. It's just not normal.

This one was over the moment Hosmer took 3 straight strikes and Escobar didn't really try to get a hit with the bases loaded.

Offense is dead right now. Doesn't help that our catcher hurts his side every time he swings, and our power hitting 3B has a knee problem.
