The assailant was seated in section 541, row 24, seat 10.

Detoxing... I agree with you on one and only one ****ing thing: You start a heated exchange with someone that has likely been drinking then you're probably going to eventually push it to a point where the guy might get physical with you. Other than that... wtf.... I don't think that the old guy was trying to push a fight, and the very fact that the kid interpreted it as anything in that realm is ****ing pathetic.

As for the video, it's clear as ****ing day that the guy is asking the kid to sit and to show some respect. Obviously, to get to this point, the guy had asked this kid multiple times to sit the **** down or he wouldn't have been yelling it at him.

The only person in the wrong here is the ****ing punk kid. The guy is clearly OLD ENOUGH that, as a 20-something guy, you aren't going to cock back and rock his goddamned face for yelling at you to sit down (presumably after repeated efforts). If you're that stupid, you deserve to go get ass-pounded by Bubba in the pen.

According to the article I read, the 26 year old and his girl were pretty obnoxious the entire game. A mother and child at the game that were in that row left because she didn't feel good about the situation.

I don't agree with Detox, although I do understand that situations like this can and will happen between men of a certain age who have imbibed a few brews.

That old guy got a ER visit, CT scan and a fractured orbit. Lucky he didn't sustain a concussion. Or worse.

It's a sad commentary on our society that someone who is asking another to do the right thing -- even if yelling it -- is supposed to expect to be physically assaulted. We wonder why there are so few "good samaritans" any longer. People keep to themselves for fear that if they go do someone's aid, or if they confront these vicious street rats, that they must expect to be jacked or killed. Sad. It's like general society has turned to prison yard rules.
