The beauty of the music repository threads here is that they're about the only place where everyone gets along. All styles and opinions are welcome. That's why they're my favorite threads.

You get used to it and prepare. It's no big deal. Not like we're in Antarctica.

Layers are the key. That's what we all do. See? You'd be fine.

The warmest single piece of clothing a lot of people have is pretty much a warm hoody or Jacket. Not these type of ones:

Its really not that bad if its just running to the car, getting out and grabbing pizza, and running back into the house. Especially because the issue is your head and upper body, not your legs. If the wind isn't an issue, having shorts on outside for a short time isn't as extreme as it may sound.

If that were black it could be my overcoat although it doesn't look quite as stuffed. T-shirt, button-down flannel long sleeve and hoodie under it and you're good to go. Wear your snow boots, 2 pairs of socks, long undies under your jeans, stocking cap and gloves and head out on the town. Don't be a puss.

Truth here. Warm the car up and shorts are fine for a 30 second run in and out.
