So..Talib assaulted himself. Did they ever find his pants..? Was he shot by someone 14 feet tall, pointing the gun directly down? His wound trajectory isn't consistent with being shot at. He's going to have to explain how he was hit at that angle...and anyone with common sense knows there is only one realistic scenario. It doesn't help that he was rumored telling his friends he "shot himself".

He better get his lies straight...the police report say it happened at a night club but Tailb is saying it happened at a park. Why would he change the story if he was just shot, as an innocent bystander, in the cross-fire? It's pretty obvious he's covering up something. The fact they waited for an hour and 15 minutes before going to the hospital is pretty telling. He is a professional athlete that was just hit in the leg...you would go there immediately.

He thinks the fact there was a shooting at a club he was just at...then by magic coincidence... ANOTHER shooting, an hour later, in a park is a solid excuse... except he was "too drunk to remember anything".

Goodell doesn't like when players obstruct investigations or get caught fabricating the truth...and Talib is too stupid to invent a believable time-table of events. He can concoct whatever story he wants to the police...but the NFL is a different matter. This is his 3rd situation dealing with firearms.

This isnt over...

That was the initial report done on the scene. All this info about the bullet forensics has come after the fact AFAIK

To be shot in the rear thigh and have it exit through the rear calf.. means it had to be a gun pressed straight down against your back. Which if you were packing..is where you would be concealing it. There isn't another scenario where a wound like that could occur outside a bar.

His pants would answer the question...but they, somehow, are missing. At least he was smart enough to ditch them...

So, here's my take on this... Talib has done a number of dumbass things and this is significant. Yes, he appears to have been the only one injured here, self-inflicted or not - I don't care at this point.

I do believe it's reckless behavior that COULD have let to something more tragic, I dunno... think Brandon Marshall and Darrent Williams on NYE level of tragic. This is the type of BS that needs to be addressed seriously by the league and the team, quite honestly.

Talib put himself and everyone within range of him at danger while drunk off his ass in public with a gun. Again, was it self-inflicted? Don't know, don't care... it was dumbassery at a high level. The fact that he didn't injure/kill anyone else ... he got lucky.

If they were to suspend him tomorrow for being a dumbass, I'd be fine with that...

I can see Seinfeld and the gang acting this out... and yeah, how do you lose your f'ing pants? On the level of Brady losing/trashing his cell phone.

Yeah...you saw how Goodell handled repeat offenders (Patriots) when Brady ditched his phone. Talib has earned his reputation...he's going to get suspended, the only question is for how long.

For as much as I detest the commissioner...he's not a stupid man. He will be able to piece the events together...Drunk and shooting firearms isn't going to sit well.

Yeah, but that's because he's a player with Denver. I count up the red flags... strip club (or night club), either way it was bar related, well after 1am, booze, guns, cops, shots fired...
