Silvia's Mock has no QB's taken by 23.

Don't know how to copy links on my I-pad yet, but it is on the chiefsplanet front page over on the left hand side.

Don't expect this to happen, but if we had the option of every QB available at 23' that would have to be tempting to go QB at the very least.

23. Kansas City Chiefs -- Louisville FS Calvin Pryor

The Chiefs' hands were tied in free agency due to cap constraints, and they don't have a second-round pick. They need a plug-and-play starter at No. 23, because they don't pick again until No. 87. Pryor manned the deep middle at Louisville, but attacks the run like a strong safety and offers plus ball skills. He would team with Eric Berry to give Kansas City an imposing back-half tandem.

That is flat-out silly, stupid, and insane.

If Minnesota has its choice of any of the QBs at #8, they're going to ****ing pick one. They're not taking Aaron Donald when they JUST acquired Linval Joseph and drafted Shariff Floyd

Uncertainty at the top of the draft will only increase the value (and trade-ability) of the chiefs pick near the end of the 1st round.

While I agree, if you can get the QB of your choice at 23, and groom him for at least one season...

If the chiefs decide a QB is the BPA, then I wont complain. Andy Reid has proven himself of having a good track record with qbs.

I'd sure take Manziel or Bortles at 23.
