That's because he IS stupid as shit.

At least Brodie Croyle was smart enough to sell insurance when he bombed out of the NFL. Bray's going to have a very tough time in life.

FWIW, I caught a bit of the show with Joeckel a couple of nights ago. I only saw a bit of the piece that showed Gruden showing tape of Joeckel picking up stunts against Alabama. And it was pretty damn impressive. IIRC, stunts from the opponents kicked our ass last season.

Since it appears this is our guy, I want to watch the whole show.

Just finished watching the whole Gruden show with Joeckel. I have to say I am not near as opposed to drafting Joeckel at #1 as I have been. Excited about it? No. But I can see where this would be a good move long term.

Fire away with the True Fan BS if you must. My order of preference is still Geno first, followed by Austin. But I can live with Joeckel.

I'm sure Joeckel is a beautiful soul, a talented football player, and will make a great starting LT in the NFL.

I've just never heard of a team protecting against stunts on their way to a Super Bowl before.

Probably because if they can't, you don't go to the Super Bowl. I wish Mass would elaborate on why our offensive line was so bad last season, other than the injury issue we all know about. Could it be we were confused by teams that stunted a lot?
