Tony G leaving CBS
I searched and didn't see it. Tony Gonzalez has decided to leave CBS network and his job on The NFL Today to stay closer to LA and his family. Here's his statement

“I have had an incredible and rewarding three years at CBS and wish it could be more, but traveling to New York each week during the season is not what is best for my family at this time,” Gonzalez said in a statement provided by CBS Sports. “While I hope to remain in broadcasting I will look to do so in the L.A. area. I can’t thank CBS enough for their support.”

I thought I read that Trent was the plan when Lenny steps down. Maybe I made that up though.

First of all he wasn't good on CBS...even though Chiefs fans will always give him a free pass whatever he does. Second when the reason is "family" it means one of two things...1.you can announce that you chose to stay home with family or 2. We will announce the sides are splitting ways so you can stay at home with your family. It's like the old "leaving to pursue other interests".
