@AdamSchefter: Chiefs are expected to trade CB Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams, sources tell ESPN. Teams are in final stages of talks and barring an unexpected snag, the trade is expected to be agreed to as early as today.

@AdamSchefter: Marcus Peters to LA Rams trade is now officially agreed to, per source; cannot be processed until March 14. But Peters expected to be a Ram.

It’s amazing that people don’t understand that what we’re getting is exactly what his value is.

It just sucks to find out that’s what his trade value is if true, and to think it had gotten so bad with our All-Pro corner that we had to do it is gut wrenching.

Yep, if he had been released, the Browns probably would have snagged him and if he was an immature nutcase in Cleveland, he'd be released again.

I think it really says a lot that Ballard nor Dorsey had anything more than "lukewarm" interest in a guy that they drafted less than 4 years ago.

I just don't get how people around here have "sources" but then aren't able to produce an estimate or guess of compensation from those sources.

Really? I don't even recall trades of this nature during the "Dead Period" being announced, let alone, the compensation.

Haha, go ahead and pretend like we should be content with that return for an All Pro CB on his rookie deal, whatever the reasoning is. No matter how you spin it, all signs point to the Chiefs organization ****ing up badly.

It's pretty clear that the Chiefs and Rams are doing this trade "By the book".

It would super easy for either team to leak the details of the trade to an established reporter or even the NFL Network but neither team has done so to date.

Keep in mind, the Chiefs were slapped with the loss of a 3rd round 2016 pick and a 6th round 2017 pick after they "tampered" with Maclin.

Someone on Twitter said the Rams don’t have a 7th. If so, no way that it’s the real trade.

Good grief, this is incredibly naive.

Wanna tell us all how the Chiefs organization ****ed up the Reggie Ragland trade?

How about the KPL trade? How about the Alex Smith to Washington trade?

You're just bitter and not using sound judgment.
