Webb was pretty unimpressive at Cal.

Webb was the fourth best or so QB in the PAC behind Falk, Browning, and Darnold. Probably fifth if Rosen stayed healthy.

But no, we don't want to put ourselves in a strong position to draft a QB next year. That would be too risky ... says all the people who complain constantly about the Chiefs avoiding risk when it comes to the QB position.

I don't see what's great about him. Even Reid hates the number of screens they ran in their offense.

I don't think I've every really seen where anyone has said that's it's to risky to draft a QB in the 1st round or early in the draft.

Nick Foles ran a looooot of screens in his Arizona offense back in college, and Reid still drafted him.

Meh. Troy Aikman got beat out by Jamelle Holieway at Oklahoma (sort of). I don't know if that by itself is a valid reason to eliminate a guy.

if we miss out on Mahomes and Watson, then yes, i'm on board with drafting Webb. I don't think he'll make it to 59 imo, so we'll have to make moves to get him, or take him early @27.

well, holliway was a total badass, so cant really fault them there. why they even recruited aikman is what still to this day puzzles me. no way he could run that offense, and i have a hard time seeing them completely shift philosophies for a home grown okie qb.

The Chiefs would have to give up more than the Ricky Williams trade to move up for one of these players. This isn't madden.
