"Saudi authorities have beheaded a murderer and crucified his body after he killed and raped a Pakistani national.

The kingdom's interior ministry announced the execution, stating that the man had murdered and sodomised another male. Both actions are punishable by death.

'The Yemeni citizen Mohammed Rashad Khairi Hussain killed a Pakistani, Pashteh Sayed Khan, after he committed sodomy with him,' said a statement carried by state news agency SPA."

Christians loved to do this sort of shit back in the day as well. It wasn't until the modernization of Europe and the growth to power that led to the nations becoming more civilized, that it started to go away. If the Persian empire had remained the most dominate force in the world, we would likely be the people doing these sorts of things.

Asian countries have also been known to do crazy shit like this prior to the U.S. dominating them and westernizing them.

Yes we are all grown up now. Fortunately the age of reason and the enlightenment have lead us away from such nonsense. The Muslims remain mired in what would be the equivalent of the Christian Dark Ages where this would be considered merciful.
