My defense looks like it's the real deal. Tied for lowest points allowed. Lead the lead in takeaways. Lead the league in sacks. They're giving the offense a lot of short fields. That's helped me have the 2nd highest scoring offense, even though Rapistberger has played like trash.

I wish I played Denver in the regular season. Unstoppable force/immovable object.

Ya my D is tied with yours in points allowed and also this past week giving up 0 of 15 3rd/4th downs helped me reach a three game total of 17.8% in that category. Defense wins championships,

What's your lineup?

I've been a bit disappointed in my defense in Duluth thus far, even though we're winning.

However, I guess now that I look at it, maybe it's a little flukey. We're 3rd in first downs yielded, 8th in yards yielded, 6th in QB pressures, 5th in yards per rush, and generally in the top half on most measures. Yet we're 18th in points allowed so far.

Our weak link seems to be passing yards per attempt, and we're giving up a fair number of yards, but even so, we've gotten our share of interceptions and our sack numbers aren't horrible.

I like our lineup:

DT - Kevin Williams
DT - Kyle Williams
DE - Elvis Dumervil
DE - Justin Tuck
OLB - Bruce Carter
OLB - Shaun Phillips
MLB - Demeco Ryans
CB - Corey Webster
CB - Antoine Winfield
SS - William Moore
FS - Ronde Barber

I'd win. Your secondary is lacking, and you don't have enough firepower on offense to counter.

Fear Tom Brady, the highest rated QB in the Sandbox Football. He's no Alex Smith.

Provo has played Russell Wilson, RGIII and Peyton Manning with nobody to throw to.

I'm not impressed.

You're fortunate that when we played there was a database error that made pass rushing (the key strength of my team) about 1/3 as effective as it should have been. And you still needed an outlier performance from Thigpen to beat me. Your team is very beatable.

That works both ways. I have Charles Johnson and Julius Peppers.

Come at me, Sandbox. Come at me. The Denver Broncos fear neither death nor pain. And certainly not Alex. D Smith.

I do think Duluth will give me a good game after I destroy Portland, though. Bring it on. My third WR just had a 3 TD game.

Only 2 bonafied pass rushers? Geno Smith, N. Suh, Chris Long, and Justin Houston scoff.

My team is only getting stronger this week with the return of first-round pick Michael Brockers.

You're looking at the #2 pressure team from Sandbox 2011 right here, baby.

Besides, if you really need all that pass rush you're probably not scoring enough points.

You're the 10th ranked pressure team at 18%. The leaders are over 30%.

I have 6 players with 7 or more NFL sacks in 2012 and you are bringing up Brockers and his 4 sacks like he is something special?

I'll worry about my pass rush when I face a team that can actually throw the ball.

Ok, so I have a question about kickers...

I have Kai Forbath and Matt Bryant on my team and the system seems to think Bryant is my best option. Why? Forbath was the best kicker in football last year... by quite a large margin actually. Is it because he didn't start until October?

The system also took a kicker who made a lower percentage of kicks for me, too, but made a lot more kicks over 50 yards, like Bryant vs Forbath.

I'm actually pleased with the result, however, so not complaining.

Also, just curious if your system takes into account kickoff lengths? I've noticed I'm getting some pretty good kickoffs from Z.

My corners are fine. McCourty is legit and McClain is underrated. I'll concede that my safeties are below average.

I have one of the top running attacks in the league, and all statistics would lead you to believe that my passing efficiency HAS to increase. Big Ben is playing WELL below his career averages (in fact, he's playing considerably worse than his worst actual season in the NFL), and you would think that should even out over time. If Big Ben can just improve his completion % and YPA to his worst season ever, I'll be in ok shape.

OK, I will agree that none of those teams have stellar WR corps, but you're seriously going to say that my defensive statistics are inflated when, at worst, every QB I've played is top 15 in the NFL?
