Schefters explanation, however, leads us to believe this isn't some kind of bs speculation. There is something here. It sounds like there's a question of whether the story will ever leak, not whether it actually happened.

It sounds to me like that's the biggest issue right now. It sounds like the reason it wouldn't come to light is because someone got bought off, not because it doesn't exist.

...which is probably common practice.

It'd be interesting to see how many videos, pics, audio recordings, etc. have been bought to keep out of the public eye.

Who's bidding on it? No one even knows whether it exists or not or where to go to buy it. So how can there be a bidding war?

Schefter has a lot of credibility on the line. If he was at all unsure, he wouldn't have answered the way he did. He wouldn't spend most of his past 6 months chasing ghosts.

He sounds pretty damn confident this is more than just some small rumor. I don't think we can just chalk this up to just another false rumor. This one seems to have more legs.

How does he have credibility on the line? All he has done so far is basically say that there may or not be a video and that he's trying to find out how to get it. He hasn't taken any stance one way or the other on it.

And how can anyone say it has legs when literally no one has seen it? No screenshots have been sent to TMZ or dead spin or any site that specializes in things like this, so how can there be a bidding war or anything of the sort. Until someone says that they have seen it or have seen a screenshot, I'm going to treat this as a BS rumor.
